Bug in the search page of websiteHi,I was using your search engine and trying to sort the many results by Country so I could see the Scottish results.I find that the Sort order for Country and Cemetery are wrongly coded and the url shows that these sorts are actually just returning sorted by Grave. It's an interesting website, such a pity it's not yet been possible to merge other people's hard work with yours as findagraveinscotlanddotcom has a lot more results for my search than your database.Regards, AndrewPS: The validation question below asks when Joseph Flintham died but the date range offered doesn't go up to 1905 so I assume it is supposed to read 'born'.
The fault with family name search not displaying in country order has now been corrected.
I found the comment about the search results when compared with the other website mentioned (findagraveinscotlanddotcom) strange. Doing a search for the surname Bird on it gave 17 hits on findagraveinscotlanddotcom whilst on the GPR there were 691.
The fault with the validation has also been corrected.
Very HelpfulThis is a very helpful site. It is often difficult to track down where someone is buried, or if you have the correct death from the indexes. This site has helped me several times to identify the correct death and provide a date and place of burial.
With thanksThank you for the free service and large image request was instant thank you x
Thank you so very much for the photos of the Bird headstonesThank you so very much for the photos of the Bird headstones in Sheringham, Norfolk! Some of these (maybe all?) are my family and I am so grateful for the images of their headstones.
I appreciate so much your willingness to provide this service to people like me who can not be in Sheringham to see these in person.
Best wishes,
Paula
